But he was saying that he thought we would *not* like Taylor Swift.  I 
don't like her music, but now the she is 21 years old I guess it's OK to 
admit that she looks pretty good even though I'm probably older than her 
dad.  ;-)

Obviously, a lot of the Linux Geek types like scifi/fantasy in films and 
books, at least more than the average person, but we probably don't want 
to be stereotyped.  I would add LoTR to your suggestions of Star Trek and 
Star Wars.  Probably Battlestar Galactica?  I never watched it much but 
thought it was well-liked.

There are certain movies that are popular with computer people, like Blade 
Runner.  I liked A.I., too.

Do a lot of people here also like Steam Punk?
