Has anyone had any luck tethering a Canon EOS (digital SLR) camera to *any* flavor of Linux or Unix? I'm having a devil of a time getting my camera to register on my installation (not linux but... it really shouldn't matter) but it does instantly both in OS X and Windows with the same USB cable. The USB port is good - I've tried the same cable with a 2.5" USB HDD and it powered up and mounted up without issue. Any help is appreciated. -- Ryan
