Yet another vote for crashplan - I've got it running on my wife's
Ubuntu laptop backing up to the house Debian file-server.  I may set
up something off-site at some future time - right now I'm happy with
my manual backups for everything except her laptop.  She can be kind
of hard on her laptops, and needs the seamless backup.
