I hear the droid is pretty cool, and its linux based.  I've got co-workers
who have hacked custom firmware, overclocked/underclocked the cpu, loaded on
different interfaces, etc.  If that kind of stuff interests you, I would go
with the driod and avoid all apple products like the plague.
