That's a good RTFM kinda thing. I just figured out that you can add a URL 
after the slash and it will check it: 

http://downforeveryoneorjustme.com/ffmpeg.org 

(with or without the http:// and other junk.) 

But what do I do if downforeveryoneorjustme.com seems to be down, perhaps 
just for me? ;-) 

I guess we don't know what they are doing, but if they say a site is not 
down, that probably means it isn't down for everyone.
