I realize this is a Linux board, but this is pretty closely related and
perhaps others are interested.
Has anyone received a free copy of Solaris 10 offered by Sun (no DVD or
shipping charge)? I ordered mine quite some time ago. I didn't record
the date as I expected the DVD within ten days or so. But after several
weeks, I contacted Sun on 02/09/07 and quickly received the following reply:
"Due to overwhelming demand we are in the process of placing new orders with our suppliers. Your order will be filled ASAP."
ASAP means when? I'd be interested if anyone has received theirs. Perhaps my order has been lost.
