Just because you *can* use linux/technology to accomplish a task doesn't mean it's always the best idea. If you don't have an explicit need for this to be run through a PC, just buy an off-the-shelf video switch. That'll free up your cards for you to do something more enjoyable with...MythTV perhaps? -erik
