When you have a motherboard that has something like one bad RAM slot, it might work fine for a long time to come, or it might just be the first sign of an impending worse failure. Why take your chances? I think Andy Z. has some pictures somewhere of what can happen to your entire computer when "Something Bad" happens to one of the components. - Justin
