I am shopping around for SATA PCI cards. A lot of information out there is concerned with hardware RAID or software RAID ( fakeraid ). I am not concerned with RAID. What I want is a solid SATA card that works well and has drivers in the vanilla kernel. If it has hardware RAID that is a bonus but not a requirement. Samir M.
