I'm running x.org without a window manager to play videos in a loop. This works beautifully except that when moving down the playlist if a video is a different size than the one that precedes it, you can see the image flicker and catch a glimpse of the ugly X gray background. I've tried adding this to my .xsession file: xsetroot -solid black -fg black s off But I still see the ugliness. Any other ideas out there? -- Donovan Niesen
