I actually logged a support call with DLink about this.  They closed it
with: "The matter has been resolved with the complainant."

Poul-Henning's response to my note about this:

Well, we're talking again, but "resolved" is probably a strong word
to use.

In my opinion, DLink doesn't understand how to play nicely on the
Internet.  Why would I want to buy products from somebody who doesn't
have a clue?
