Yeah, I checked. Nothing but "vga=791", same as the 2.6.7 kernel. Also
tried nofb, to no avail. I wasn't clear on it before, either, but the
knoppix-customized 2.6.7 kernel boots with vesafb, just no CD/IDE-RAID
(Picks up the SATA stuff too.) or X. (X just errors out saying no
devices detected, so perhaps a missing kernel module, but I don't know
which one.)
