Speaking of VNC, I ran across this remote control site that is similar
to GoToMyPC, with a few less features but it's free.  There's a
restriction that you can't transfer files with the client.

Like GoToMyPC, because it runs as a service (on XP) and connects to
their servers through port 80, it slices and dices firewalls.
