I am not much of a Mandrake user (though I have a little used
install on another partition of the box that I am using to type
this), but the whole thing seems like a tempest in a teapot. If
you have a problem with with a company making money from Linux,
you shouldn't be using Mandrake anyway. Mandrake is a company
that is trying to pull out of bankruptcy - if they can make a
little money this way, great. It will be easy enough for anyone
who cares to stop the ads after the install, so big deal.
