I've had great results using rsnapshot.

Subject: [TCLUG] Backup

Hey guys, I need some advice on doing a backup for our lab server. I
have about 140GB of data that I would like to backup to a SNAP NAS that
we have laying around. I am running Gentoo on the server if that makes
a difference. Well I was thinking about doing a simple tar but I was
wondering if their was anything else out their that might make my life
easier. My boss is hoping for something that can do basic incrementals.
Any thought or experiences?

Jason
