Not my sort of user interface I guess (love the > wheel on my PC's trackball though). But thanks for the warning, if I > ever use it I'll try to be extra nice. Mine has broken twice - I just 'upgraded' the glue (it was ultrasonically welded in two small places) on the inside and I'm pretty hopeful. It's a badly-designed part but easily the least-used in my case. I definitely try to steer clear of using it for any hard-drive-unfriendly activities, though. I have never used it in Windows - the Java mini-client (downloadable from the player's web server (ethernet) does just fine for me. I also bought an extra dock (either $40 or $50) and have it mounted in my car, which has worked well so far. - -- - -dave Dave Carlson <dave at math.umn.edu> Systems Administrator School of Mathematics, University of Minnesota http://www.math.umn.edu 8 Vincent Hall Computer Support Requests: 612-625-4895 Cell Phone: 612-747-5415 (personal) E-mail Pager: 6127475415 at mobile.att.net PGP/GPG Fingerprint: C3D0 9962 1E98 B742 132D 0E1A CE11 7C4B 5309 97A7 (visit http://www.gnupg.org for more information) -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.4 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFBPffpzhF8S1MJl6cRApzSAJ9fWCaLpvuC3W1TH87IuOiFiZbdhQCdGJ1t MqHUYz5oJEsEt1DlyodF0UQ= =fSHI -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ TCLUG Mailing List - Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota Help beta test TCLUG's potential new home: http://plone.mn-linux.org Got pictures for TCLUG?
