I'm trying to re-install Debian on an old Thinkpad. I had it installed
once before, installed from "sarge-i386-netinst.iso (testing, beta4
installer), and with that installation all the x-server stuff, KDE, and
"standard" applications installed and set themselves up without any
fuss. I didn't have to find and install all the bits and pieces
separately. When I booted up the first time, KDE was there. I've also
used netinst (testing, beta3) in the same way on other computers.

This time, the base system installs OK, but x-server and KDE are not
there. As far as I know, I'm doing everything the same way as I did
before, when everything worked. What am I doing wrong? Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Kraig Jones
