I believe it's probably the motherboard.  I know that there was
a bug in the kernel that shipped with FC2 that kept resetting with certain
motherboards.  I know it did with mine.  I think it's probably related to
2.6 kernels more than any particular distro.



I'm hoping that it gets fixed
in FC3.  My advice is to try another motherboard (if it's an option), or wait
until FC3 comes out (in about a week or so) to see if it's been fixed.
