Yes ... jumpered and identified by BIOS correctly. Trying to reverse the cable leads to an error ... where only one drive is found and the other does not appear in BIOS. The format completes ... sounds like the CDROM starts to spin up ... then it crashes. No messages, nothing ... other than it goes to shutdown and tells me that the boot process ended abnormally.
