Even though you think the default port is 80 and it should just work, it
doesn't.

I'm an SSL newbie, but when I got Apache+SSL working I wrote a sloppy
HOWTO.  There really wasn't a good HOWTO out there, so I slapped together

You're probably beyond that, but I threw in some basic troubleshooting. 
If anyone wants to clean up and expand my HOWTO, go for it.
