I just bought a 1GB USB thumb drive ($100!!) and it works great. But I'm wondering if there's a way I can set some power managment options for it to keep it spun up for a short delay (5 secs or something) so when I'm maneuvering around, it stays spun up for faster response. Is there an hdparm-like utility that can control "scsi" (usb) drive parameters, or would this option be controlled somewhere else?
