I think the problem he's referring to is that when you paste into vim,
if you're using auto indent and formatting stuff, it'll royally mess up
the paste.  

When I paste, i do a :set paste in vim first - then it pastes like it
should.  Also, you might have to do :set nolist if you have vim set to
show tabs or spaces or anything like that..

I don't like putting that in vimrc though, because you lose a lot of
features/niceties.  If there's a better way i'm all ears
