I just installed mandrake 9.2 and I have some questions. first, when I try to mount my floppy drive (as root), it tells me that permission is denied. However when I clicked on the floppy shortcut on the desktop, it worked just fine. how can I properly mount my floppy drive from the command line? Then when I was copying some files to the floppy drive and it was taking far, far longer than it should have and when I unmounted after that, the floppy drive shortcut disappeared on my desktop. Also, for no apparant reason, sometimes the message "Mutex destroy failure: device or resourse busy" would appear on the command line. that happened about three times.
