I can't seam to get the network running when installing I booted the CD and typed "gentoo dopcmcia" It found the pcmcia sockets but it does not find the Xircom IIps I'm a bit lost at this point because I don't know which driver to use for the Xircom IIps I looked in the /lib/modules/'name' /kernel/net. Or even if I have a choice or if I have to wait for another point in the installation. I created the partitions and will format them tomorrow, time for bed. The Laptop is a Compaq Armada 7770 DMT Pentium 233mmx, 80mb RAM, 3 gig of disk It's missing the right "Shift" key but that's really not a problem.
