Hello all, I have successfully installed debian on my main server here at home. I forgot my name in the process, but the server is running. I have an issue that is strange to me and very much over my head. If I use DHCP to configure my network, I can connect to my shares via samba from my windows box. If I hard-code my ip, gatewat, subnet, nameservers etc, I cannot connect. Wen hard-coded, I can get to the internet fine. Just Samba drops out. Any ideas?
