:-( :-/ :-) Thanks for all the opinions & info on the distro's that would work for me - especially the specific reasons and examples some of you gave. At the moment I'm thinking Debian or Slackware. I'm brand new to this list, and was _slightly_ concerned about starting a distro flaming war - I'm glad it didn't turn into that.
