Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to be the case.  From the
C|Net article:

"Lenovo will be the preferred supplier of PCs to IBM and will be
allowed to use the IBM brand for five years under an agreement
that includes the "Think" brand."

IBM is selling off all of their PCs, including th laptops, but 
Lenovo gets to use the IBM name during a transition period.
