Make a new PuTTY profile - in Connection, leave the "Auto-login
username" box blank and make certain Connection | SSH | Auth has
NOTHING in the "Private key file for authentication" box.

You should then be prompted for a UserID & Password when you log in to
your box, and can fill them in.  Later, you can do the KeyGen thing.
