Yeah, but Debian had them first!!! (said in voice of Debian zealot, of 
course).. 

Actually, the best argument against Debian I ever heard was that it's not 
very advanced because it's only on version 3.0 -- everything else is on, 
like, version 9 or something. Which, by that logic, makes Windows 2000 look 
like a pretty good choice... :)
