I suggest that you try Mandrake 9.2. I upgraded from 8.2 to 9.1 about a 
year ago and there was quite a difference.

I just want to say that each major release of Mandrake is significantly 
better than the previous one. I don't want to start a big "this distro 
is best" discussion.
