I think it is 137, 138, and 139 typically. Check 
/etc/services and see if any info is there.

maybe this question has a quick answer.  I have samba running, and I
also
have bastille-firewall set up on my box.  What ports need to be open
for my
windows box to talk to my linux box?  I can see my samba server in my
network neighborhood.  When I take bastille-firewall down for a minute,
I
CAN connect to my samba shares.
