I've been having the same problem with my cable modem. I would come home from work and notice I don't have internet service. I'd have to reset the cable modem to get it back up. It just started happening about 2 weeks ago. I also have the RCA modem. I'm glad to see someone else is having a problem... that means its most likely Comcast's fault... and they need to do something about it.
