I'm using Gentoo linux. I have a Gentoo server that is working perfectly and a 2.53P4 system that has a sound problem. The sound card is a Soundmax Cadenza. Which isn't supported by ALSA among other things. I have tried loading the i810 and via686 drivers via modprobe and it doesn't find a device. I tried this since it worked for someone with a different type of soundmax card. Any Ideas?
