Adam's Recommendations (tm):

Water tower in Eden Prairie has been a hit with the TCSA group in the past
- they actually have real beer now, having dumped their homebrew
selections. They also have pool tables (!) and darts. Not a big place
though, so it might be difficult to get a large group in on a Friday
night.

Cattle Company in Bloomington has a fine tap selection (the usual
domestics plus Guiness, Bass, Killians, Summit, and 1 or 2 others). They
have the added bonus of stocking Green Chartreuse, which is an experience
in and of itself. I'm also pretty friendly with the bartenders and
waitstaff, so we would have no problems getting in, and we'd be well taken
care of.

Dean's Tavern in (Roseville/No St. Paul/Maplewood/whatever) isn't the
fanciest place in the cities, but their beer is really cheap, and they
have a decent selection. Dean's is just north of Hwy 36 on Rice street.
They have a large seating area and usually aren't too busy. They serve
real food and apps until 8pm (?). This is the poster-boy for "dive bar",
but that's not always a bad thing.

But I'm always up for trying out new places too!

The alcoholics have spoken :)
