I know I had this problem before and someone here gave me the solution,
but I can't remember what it was.

We had a box get accidentally upgraded from RH 7.2 to RH 7.3 last night
due to the /etc/apt/sources.list being changed. Now, Request Tracker
can't resolve the database server *most* of the time. When I manually
use nslookup or host to resolve the database server, it works every
time. I've added the host into /etc/hosts to fix this temporarily.

I had this problem before with cfengine and I thought it had something
to do with the software doing lookups improperly or something. I don't
recall what the fix was.

Anyone know? Thanks.
