Is that something that is required in addition to the imm? I haven't played with a direct connect printer on Linux in ages. Probably not since SuSe 6.x (my second distro load) I'd say. Shortly after that, I bought a JetDirect box for the home network. I'm a Slackware user, and have been since release 7.x, so my SuSe familiarization is has waned quite a bit. Again, glad to hear you got things working.
