thanks for the suggestion! i was under the impression the agp modules
would be handled directly by the nvidia module (using nvagp?), but it
looks like agp wasn't loaded. i recompiled with agp, now agp is loaded
successfully at 4X. now i just need to use the system and see if i get
any more slowdowns!
