I have 2.6.0-test1 as one of the boot options for my HP xz275. I also have
2.4.21 and 2.4.20. This is a slack 9.0 install. The 2.4 kernel don't enable
the acpi on the laptop. The 2.6.0 kernal does make the acpi work. But the
2.6.0 breaks the touchpanel mouse putting it on AUX3 or some such place.
Found something about getting it to work in the 2.5 kernel that should help.
Now I just need to find the options that causes it to lock up when trying to
go to multiuser mode. Did that once and had to start the build from scratch.
