/dev/cdrom is usually just a symlink to the actual device the cdrom is 
on.  Just make sure /dev/cdrom now points to /dev/hda.  The other option 
is to change fstab to use /dev/hda instead of /dev/cdrom but depending 
on your system, that may mess up other software that expects to find it 
at /dev/cdrom.
