See if you can boot into rescue mode and check for an entry for proc in /etc/fstab

none /proc proc defaults 0 0

  Subject: [TCLUG] it's down...

I had a fresh install of Red Hat 9.0. Installed Snort using guide on snort.org site. After hours of configuring I re-booted.

"An error occurred during the file system check"...

Couldn't open /proc/partititons: No such file or directory is /proc mounted?

Anyone have ideas? I'm new to Linux.Thanks.
