Hi Sorry for an off topic mail, but this was puzzling me for quite some time and hence I thought would ask this question. One of my friend was planning to buy a PC. He found that all the vendors who are selling PC are preloading the PC with windows XP. Are there any vendors who sell PC without windows or any software of Microsoft preloaded in it?? Will, not loading the PC with Microsoft Products, reduce the price of the PC substantially? He is planning to buy a PC for $600 -$800 and feels that instead of buying a PC with microsoft products, he can get better hardware in the PC for the same amount and install Linux in the PC.
