[Warning: Possibly thread hijacking....]

Personally, I like QT a lot better than Gtk, but then I find myself
much more likely to write Gtk programs.  The reason is that Gtk is
better supported by scripting languages I like, notably perl.
[Interestingly, I note that while Mandrake, the distro I use most, is
a much more KDEish distro than its sister RedHat, all the Mandrake
configuration gadgetry like rpmdrake, etc., seems to be written using
perl and gtk.]  Has anyone out there found a decent perl+qt solution?
I've tried on occasion to install the perlQT from CPAN, but it always
seems to end up in a horrible snarl wrt the way Mandrake installs
KDE....

[I know about pyqt but I'd rather keep perl and give up QT than take
up python right now.  YMMV.]
