You can get the US Census data from:
http://ftp.census.gov/geo/www/gazetteer/places.html

I believe the file contains the zipcode and the lat & long for the center of
the zipcode.  

Given the lat & long, you whould be able to whip a quick program to do find all
the stores in a given circle.  I probably have some sample code around here
somewhere if you need help.
