I just installed Red Hat 8.0 last night, and one of the first things I did was go to freshrpms.net and installed apt and synaptic for Red Hat 8.0. (Then I was in bliss using apt to add a number of packages). Being fairly new to apt, I am assuming I want add Bob's apt repository for Red Hat 8 to my sources list, as a local mirror is always good to have. I guess my question is, is that I just don't want to mess anything up, and are there any gotchas that I should be aware of? Thanks! Paul silwenae at silwenae.com
