On Linux, the first SCSI tape device shows up as /dev/st0 (or /dev/nst0
for non-rewinding devices).  If you have multiple tape drives, they
should probably be numbered in the same order as they show up in
/proc/scsi/scsi

I'm not sure what the devfs names would be, though..
