No, actually, --replacefiles will replace files installed by other
packages.  That's what I'm trying to do.  apt-get bombs with this error
when a file from the package I'm attempting to install conflicts with a
file from a previously-installed package:

E: Sub-process /bin/rpm returned with an error code (1)
