Oooh, it's been a while. But I don't think you can. As I recall, public folders don't necessarily have to be in "news" format. They could be calendars for meeting rooms, notes, .... pretty much whatever. On the flip side, it's pretty easy to set up a public folder as a mirror for a newsgroup. But, let's not go there. Lee
