Are there better viewers for info manuals?

It may be that I like LCD (lowest common
denominator) interfaces when I feel a lack
of information coming on:

% man <the-thing-I-do-not know>
<page-down><page-down><page-down>
<page-up>
<page-down>
<page-up><page-up>
<page-down>
<quit>

 i.e. "I'm just a simple cave man. I find your
'info' using ways frightening and strange...".

;-)

Seriously, I don't like the command line
info viewer. Is there a better option (especially
for the command line), or should I just "suck it
up and stop complaining".

TIA,

Troy

Then, type info 'make'. You should get the GNU Make manual. It
explains make very well.
