We just used to signify to other people when we were away and where we were
and stuff.

It made life easier, where's Bob, oh I see, he's at the dentist.

I recall being one of those people who wouldn't use a scheduler.  I
figured "what's the angle to me to having other people be able to
program my time without asking me?"  Sometimes too much efficiency is
NOT a good thing....
