You could try: rpm -e samba-swat-2.0.10-2

That should remove Swat (the Samba Web Administration Tool), which should
then allow you to upgrade Samba.

I believe you'll need to use encrypted passwords to make your XP box talk
to your samba server.  You may want to take a look at the O'Reilly 'Using
Samba' book.  It's available at all of the usual places (Amazon, etc.),
but it's also available as a .pdf (well, a collection of .pdf files) from
the O'Reilly website:
